BUFFALO, NY - Randy Sargent, President of Stop Killing Clothing and community activist from Buffalo left from Buffalo City Hall Saturday.
He will walk over 600 miles from the steps of City Hall to Washington D.C. He will be the voice of all the victims and the families affected by homicide throughout the nation.
Sargent will walk through Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, Baltimore, MD and finally finishing at Washington, D.C.
While on the walk he will be carrying the names of homicide victims as a symbol of the collective death, pain, loss and mourning of the Buffalo community. He will hand deliver that pain to the footsteps of the White House.
Every one mile Randy walks he will place a sign on the side of the road with a victims name on it.
The entire 600 mile route will memorialize the victims of violence and be a reminder to our community what violence is having on our nation.
