Happy Birthday Cheerios!

BUFFALO, NY - Chances are when people think of Buffalo, they think of chicken wings. But there is one other delicious food that comes to mind that has been around this city a lot longer than the chicken wing.

While driving down the 190, you can't help but notice the delicious smell in the air. General Mills has been pumping out cereal for over 100 years, and this year the company is celebrating 70 years of Cheerios!

As part of the Citybration event this weekend, "Breakfast on the Boardwalk" was held to benefit the Buffalo City Mission and provide everyone at the event a free heart-healthy breakfast.

Attendees received a free bowl of the celebrated cereal along with a small carton of milk provided by Upstate Farms.
