Music is Art is asking residents to help out in getting the art and cultural programs back in the Buffalo Area.

Erie County Executive Chris Collins cut funding to all cultural organizations except for 10 he deems worthy. Music is Art was one of the programs that was cut.

The County Legislature is considering a change in the proposal that may allow for more programs to stay alive. Music is Art is asking anyone and everyone to get involved and help make this change happen.

Their requesting that if you live in Erie County, to let the Legislature know that you want your tax dollars invested in arts and culture. And if you live outside of the area, to tell them that it's our arts and culture that bring you here.

Musis is Art is also asking that people attend the Erie County Budget Hearing on Wednesday November 1o at the Old County Hall. They will congregate on the steps at 4:30pm and the hearing begins at 5pm.
