BUFFALO, NY (WGRZ) -- A source tells 2 On Your Side the primary suspect in Saturday's mass shooting at the City Grill on Main Street in Downtown Buffalo may have left Western New York.

The source says the individual police are searching for is believed to be in North Carolina or South Carolina.

Tuesday, police searched the Ferry-Grider homes in Buffalo and told residents there they were looking for a bald, African-American male, between 25 and 30-years-old.  However, police would not officially release a description of the suspect to the media.

Mike DeGeorge, a spokesperson for the Buffalo Police Department, said he was not aware of any new developments regarding the potential whereabouts of any suspects.  But he did add that information is not something the department would make public while an investigation is still in progress.
