Infringe on fashion at Music is Art | Arts & Culture
Infringe on Fashion has gathered talented fashion designers, models, artists and musicians from Buffalo and New York with one goal in mind to take their creativity and social movement to the stage and runway. Infringe on Fashion is a movement started by Eco designer Tamora Lee Jewelry in 2012 at the Buffalo Infringement festival. As the creator and founder of Infringe on Fashion the overall goal is to bring the focus to the social issues surrounding fashion sustainability.
The goal is to challenge the audience to think in new and unconventional ways, break conventions of traditional arts, and break down conventional ideas about "what fashion or art is”. The group has two events upcoming this Fall Sept. 13 at Music is Art called Music Love Fashion.
The performance takes place Sept. 13 at Music is Art 1pm at Lincoln pwky Stage and 4:30 on the dance stage.
It will include performance art performances that includes wearable art, theatre, dance and musical composition all created and produced by local artists from Buffalo NY. The group of designers /Artists include Tamora Lee, Totally Duct, Sandra Jean Wilson, Floyd Baker, Josie Young, Michael Mietlicki, BalletexMachina, Ximone and with all music composed by Choloroform.
