On Sunday, June 10, 2012, hundreds of faithful gathered at St. Stanislaus Parish to participate in the annual Corpus Christi Procession.
The celebration was jointly organized by St. Stan's and Corpus Christi Parish on Clark Street. The procession made its way through the Historic Polonia District, stopping are four altars before ending at Corpus Christi Church for benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
This beautiful public manifestation demonstrates Catholic love, reverence and devotion for the presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist. It has been celebrated in the Historic Polonia District for 139 years.
