  • Navy Week - Buffalo, NY - September 11-18, 2012 Buffalo Navy Week “will commemorate the bicentennial of the War of 1812 and ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ with Navy ship visits and special events recognizing America’s Navy for keeping the sea free for more than 200 years,” the Navy announced.
  • Curtain Up! 2012 Friday, September 14th, 2012Main Street between Chippewa and Tupper Streets Downtown Buffalo’s historic Theatre District.Toast the opening of the Theatre season and enjoy the pre-theatre, black tie dinner at Shea's Performing Arts Center. Enjoy an evening of live theatre performances at one of the participating theatres. Then attend the post-Theatre street party which is open-to-the-public.
  • Rock the Block party- Friday, September 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., join the 500 Block Association for another Rock the Block Party! Stop on by and check out gallery showings at Main (St)udios, the Brian Garmon Gallery and Jerry's Photo Lab! There will also be an artisans market, Mobile Soles, tours of the WNY Book Arts Center, music by WAM, SolStace Breakdancin', street performances, wine and beer tasting, and food specials at E-Cafe and at the Hyatt!
