Popular Native Offerings Farm Expands With Opening of Two Roadside Venues

Native Offerings Farm, a fixture at both the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market and the Winter Market at Horsefeathers in Buffalo, is making it easier for health-conscious consumers to purchase fresh, local produce by opening two roadside venues. Their on-farm stand will open from 3 to 7 p.m. Fridays located at 8501 Maples Road, Little Valley, while the second venue is now open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays in the parking lot of Groove Health & Fitness, 6696 Route 219, Ellicottville.

A 180-acre, family owned farm, Native Offerings is deeply committed to ecological farming. Current USDA-certified organic produce offerings include lettuce, radish, greens (arugula, kale, dandelion, mustard komatsuna, vitamin green, mizuna, tat soi), bok choi, peppers, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, scallions, leeks, eggplant, beets, fennel, zucchini and tomatillos. The farm’s fruit selection, brought in from Western New York growers, includes plums, prunes, peaches, Gala apples and Bartlett pears. Produce and fruit offerings change with the growing season. SNAP benefits are accepted at each location.
