Journey’s End Celebrates 25 Years with Photo Show by Refugees

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- More than a quarter century ago Journey’s End began as a volunteer effort by local churches to assist an out-of-town agency resettle refugees in Buffalo. Early on, Journey’s End hoped to resettle 40 refugees/ year. This year the local non-profit has already resettled more than 450 refugees with more arriving every week.

In the last quarter century, Journey’s End has grown to provide a full range of services to help refugees integrate and contribute to our community as rapidly and thoroughly as possible. And through that growth they’ve stayed true to their roots, as the only agency working with churches and community groups to directly assist with the resettlement process through their co-sponsorship program.
