Chateau Buffalo, Buffalo’s urban winery specializing in wines and craft hard ciders, will begin offering “Wine Down Wednesday — Happy Hour at the Ciderhouse,” from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evenings beginning Feb. 4. Chateau Buffalo is located at 175 Niagara Frontier Food Terminal (1500 Clinton St.), Buffalo.

Guests of the events will enjoy wine and hard cider by the glass and delicious snack offerings. A $5 admission charge will include one free drink.

Opening night festivities on Feb. 4 will feature grilled grass-fed beef hamburgers from Plato Dale Farm and live music provided by Porcelain Train. Snacks available for purchase will include a New York State Cheeseboard, Deb’s Delight Salsa & Chips, Cedar’s Bakery Spinach Pie, Bavarian Nut Company Smoked Almonds, and Popcorn with Java Sprinkles.

Chateau Buffalo occupies a beautifully renovated 3,500-square-foot retail and production facility in the city’s historic Clinton-Bailey market area.
