Crazy Yummy! Cookies 'N Cream Pudding
Crazy Yummy! Cookies 'N Cream Pudding

This is the yummiest dessert I've made in weeks, and super easy! I got the idea after eating some Southern Banana Pudding a friend made for a gathering. I loved the texture, the gooeyness of the pudding and the crunch of the cookies, with the sweetness of the banana... so good!

After that I got to thinking about how much I love cookies 'n cream ice cream, and how simple it would be to combine the two ideas. What resulted was a chocolate lover's dream! I loved it so much, I'm gonna share it with all of you today.

Cookies 'N Cream Pudding

2 pkg. (3.4 oz) Jell-O White Chocolate Instant Pudding

3 cups cold milk (if you're using sugar-free pudding, add another 1/2 cup of milk, or it will be too thick)

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup cream or milk

1 pkg of your favorite chocolate cookie (make sure they're crunchy!)

1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping

Whisk 3 cups of milk with the packages of pudding for 2 minutes (it will set in 5 minutes). In a medium bowl, combine chocolate chips with enough cream or milk to almost cover the chips. Microwave in 30 seconds increments, stirring in between, until a smooth chocolaty mixture emerges. Arrange chocolate cookies in a single layer at the bottom of a large serving dish or bowl. Spread half the melted chocolate on top. Add half the pudding. Another layer of cookies, chocolate, pudding and the whipped topping on top. If you have any cookies left, arrange them on top to make it look pretty. Drizzle the rest of the chocolate on top of that. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

This makes a beautiful dessert to serve at casual gatherings. It will bring back childhood memories for all your guests, and they'll leave your house feeling comforted and happy. Enjoy!
