An enhanced EBT program, three new vendors, talented local entertainers and two Wellness Weekends will highlight the 2015 season at the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market. The selling season kicks off on Saturday, May 9, and runs through Saturday, Nov. 28. Hours at the open-air venue in Buffalo’s historic Elmwood Village are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine.
A program of the Elmwood Village Association, the market features more than 40 vendors selling fruits, vegetables, baked goods, organics, fresh meat, cut flowers, wine, craft beer, eggs, dairy, honey, cheese and much more. Products available at the market are always fresh, seasonal and local. New vendors in 2015 include K&B Farm, Kindred Kreek and Niagara Distilling Company.
