Farmers & Artisans Now Offering Bulk Produce Purchases

Farmers & Artisans Now Offering Bulk Produce Purchases

Bulk local produce straight from the farm — including blueberries, cucumbers, tomatoes, corn, peaches, Bartlett pears, Concord grapes and apples — is now being offered through Farmers & Artisans, 4557 Main St., Snyder. The store will be accepting pre-orders for flats, eight-quart and half-bushel sizes, depending on the item as the produce becomes available.

“We know it’s not always easy or convenient to drive out to a farm or visit a farmers’ market,” said Farmers & Artisans owner Julie Blackman. “We hope this added convenience will appeal to our customers, especially those with an interest in preserving and canning so that they can enjoy our nutritious and flavorful local produce year-round.”
