The pollsters surveyed registered democrats in the city of Buffalo and found that 61 percent would vote for Brown, 32 percent would vote for Tolbert, while 8 percent are still undecided.  Each candidate's number is rounded to the nearest tenth, which is why the three numbers add up to 101.

The mayoral primary is Tuesday, September 10th.

Tolbert increased his support since the first poll was commissioned in June. At that point, he had 26 percent.

Tolbert's major issue continues to be recognition. 44 percent of those surveyed say they don't know enough about Tolbert to have an opinion of him.

Republican Sergio Rodriguez is the other candidate in the race for Mayor of Buffalo. He will be on the Republican line in November.

All three candidates will debate on Tuesday, August 27th at 8 pm. You will be able to watch the debate on Channel 2 and wgrz.com. WNED-TV and The Buffalo News are partnering with Two On Your Side to hold the debate.
