Police Identify Victim of ECMC Shooting | News

Buffalo, NY - Buffalo Police are now identifying the victim of the deadly shooting at ECMC Wednesday morning as 33-year old Jacqueline Wisniewski.

She was shot and killed around 8am at the David K. Miller building on Erie County Medical Center grounds.

Wisniewski worked as a receptionist at ECMC.  She had a young son and was very close to her young nephew.

Police continue to look for a person of interest, trauma surgeon Dr. Timothy Jorden, Jr.

The two lived together for around four years at Dr. Jorden's house in Lake View.  Wisniewski and her son moved out earlier this year, according to her friends, who also say she was the victim of domestic violence.
