BUFFALO, N.Y. - If you're looking to get a unique view of Buffalo, a workout, or both, explore Buffalo's waterfront by kayak or stand-up paddle board.
Buffalo Harbor Kayak has been open for four years, but business has been booming this summer, thanks in part to the warm weather and the increased traffic at Canalside.
You can rent a kayak or stand-up paddle board for $15 an hour. On weekends there are guided tours up the Buffalo River, with a stop at one of the grain elevators for a walking tour.
If you prefer to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights, the Queen City Ferry may be for you.
It connects the inner and outer harbors with stops at various points along the waterfront. Rides are $8. There are also daily, 90 minute guided tours at 10:30 a.m.
