One Killed in Downtown Shooting | News

BUFFALO, N.Y. - One person has died following a shooting early Sunday morning at the corner of South Elmwood Avenue and Johnson Park.

Homicide detectives say a male in his late 20s was shot around 4:30 a.m. He was taken to ECMC where he later died.

The incident happened just as the final crowds were leaving the Chippewa District.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
