Downtown Roadwork Underway | News

BUFFALO, N.Y. - If your morning commute takes you through downtown Buffalo, you might want to plan a different route for the next few days.

Now through Wednesday, construction crews will be paving South Elmwood Avenue, West Tupper Street and West Chippewa Street.

For West Tupper Street, that means you will not be able to drive west until work ends at 3:00 p.m. each day.

Chippewa and Elmwood will have a lane open in both directions but you can expect delays.

Construction is expected to continue through Wednesday.
