Lockport Man Dead After Early A.M. Shooting in Buffalo

BUFAFLO, N.Y. - Buffalo homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left a Lockport man dead in a gas station parking lot.

Rashiene T. Carson, 24, of Lockport, was shot just before 1 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Ontario Street in the city's Riverside neighborhood.

Buffalo Police say Carson was in the rear seat in a parked car at the time of the shooting.

He died a short time later.

"As far as a motive, the detectives are trying to determine if an armed robbery turned into a homicide case," said Dennis J. Richards, Chief of Detectives.
