Liquid Energy, located at 298 Main Street inside of the Cathedral Building in downtown Buffalo, officially opened about 3 weeks ago. The owner, Meghan Bromley, says she wanted to bring a taste of the West Coast health food scene to Buffalo.

"Five years ago I was diagnosed with a gluten, nut, corn syrup and milk allergies," said Bromley. "Being in Buffalo, there's not a lot to be offered as far as food varieties for allergy-friendly foods and I'd always go to juice bars outside of Buffalo and thought it would be such a great idea to have that in Buffalo."

Liquid Energy offers a wide variety of fruit and vegetable-based juices and shakes. The highlight of the menu though, is wheatgrass, an ingredient not commonly found in Western New York.

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The New York State Liquor Authority is now looking into the events leading up to Saturday's quadruple homicide in downtown Buffalo.

SLA officials are looking into what security was on staff at the parties that were booked at City Grill Friday night and how the restaurant responded to an altercation that led up to them turning on the lights and clearing the bar.
