Crust Pizza Bar Offers Something Different in Allentown

Crust Pizza Bar Offers Something Different in Allentown

A couple weeks ago we started to see some pictures of the pizza pop up on instagram and I tried to remain cautiously optimistic; there have been several attempts to make ‘authentic’ versions of pizza in WNY and we’ve been disappointed more often then not. But Alli was very excited and walked our dogs by everyday to see how close they were to opening.

I was a little upset when I found out that Sample Restaurant was moving out of Allentown. I live right down the street and they offered a more upscale dining option that really can’t be found in the immediate area. It was one of those restaurants that I wish I had visited more often, I enjoyed the atmosphere and it was a great spot for a drink and a couple small bites at the bar. We had a few smaller meals there but never properly reviewed it ourselves.

Thai Me Up Hits The Streets

Thai Me Up Hits The Streets

The people running Thai Me Up are the same folks who are behind Amherst’s The King and I. We heard about a truck parked behind the restaurant a long time ago, but it took a while for anything to come of it. The menu for both of our visits was simple but very affordable, nothing was priced higher then $6.
